• TakoMagi Tagaytay

Last Thursday we visited TakoMagi in Tagaytay. The vibe of their place will really transport you in a cozy Japanese Ramen house without breaking your bank. But before getting into the review let me share to all of you my interview with Mr. Edrianne Dela Cruz, the owner of TakoMagi. Why did you decided to pursue a career in the restaurant business? My passion is in arts really, but art and food goes hand in hand, I love good food and product presentation and visual display adds up to how you experience your food. That’s the reason we have different cuisine all over the world that are offered here in…

  • Bodhi Shop and Library

Last week, we decided to visit the Bodhi shop and library located inside La Bella Hotel in Neogan, Tagaytay.    We arrived around 3 in the afternoon. And luckily there’s no people but there’s an ongoing construction around the library. Upon entering we can smell essential ols. They have handmade soaps, essential oils, crystals and many other products that you can try. We checked their roof deck first. We’re still enjoying the view and the chilly weather but we had to go down because it’s drizzling. Get to know the Bodhi Shop and Library The word Bodhi is derived from the name of a tree, Bodhi Tree where Gautama Siddharta, now known as…

  • Photobook Worldwide Review

Since I had my daughter Zoe I took photos of her almost everyday especially on her first year. But almost all photos of her was saved on my desktop and hard drive. Then I heard about the Photobook app. I downloaded and got a free 6×6″ photobook as a welcome gift. It’s a 21 pages simple photobook and I only paid, 200 pesos ($4) for the shipping fee. I layout my photos using my Ipad and adjusted some photos to fit the square layout. But to my surprise upon receiving my book I had a few cropped photos. I wonder why they don’t even checked the photos before printing. I…

  • Shakey's Junior Pizza Master 2018

My mom and auntie dined in Shakey’s and they saw the Junior Pizza Master Workshop. It’s designed for 3-12 years old. So they enrolled Zoe and her cousin. The fee is 499 php which includes a chef’s hat, apron, pizza making kit, certificate and 1 glass of house blended Ice tea. The call time is 9am and we arrived on time. But the program didn’t start until 9:45 am. Because the participants should be 11 kids but they’re only 5. The program starts with a bring me game and they gave out stuff toys as prizes. Zoe got these cute toys. Then followed by the highlight of the workshop, pizza…

  • I found the one.

Never struggled from breakout til I had my pregnancy. Cystic acne all over my face especially on forehead and chin. It’s so frustrating that I can’t do anything about it. I am pregnant so I need to be extra careful in choosing products. Then when I gave birth I exclusively breastfeed my daughter and up to now. So acne became my bestfriend. It was last year when I started using Essential oils for my acne (will do a separate blog about it). That was the start of my road to clear skin journey. It really helped me managed my acne. But when I am so close to having a pimple…
